Reader Profile

My music magazine targets audience that currently listen to the rock genre, and audiences that want to get into the rock genre, these audiences do not have a specific age demographic however it is reaches out to the teenage 16-35 audience mainly. The magazines aim at targeting a wide audience will help the rock genre become more well known as well as the magazine becoming more well known.

Typical with other rock magazines there is a specific age range and so it restricts the popularity of the genre and magazine, my magazine will break this barrier. Furthermore the magazine will start small in the UK and then publish worldwide maximizing reputation.

Location/Photoshoot Planning

Location Planning:

Cover picture:

area must be somewhat derelict and not commonly used by people. Does  not necessarily have to be urban but preferred rural.

the time of the photo shoot preferably at night rather than day so that there is more emphasis on the model rather than the surrounding.

The model will have a solemn/sorrowful look however not to dark and dreary. they will look up at the camera as though in search for meaning, help etc

Double page spread picture:

area must be somewhat derelict and not commonly used by people. Does  not necessarily have to be urban but preferred rural.

the time of the photo shoot will be during the day so that the model as well as the rural background is in the photo.

The model will look contradictory to the cover photo, they will look happy and cheerful rather than a dark look, again they will look directly into the camera as though they are directly interacting with the reader.

Contents page picture:

the are can be a mix between rural/urban, the time of day required is daylight so that the full effect of the picture is received by the reader.

once again the model will look directly into the camera and will preferably no have a veering expression of happy or sad, rather a neutral look them. the lighting will be directly on their face to capture the effect of neutrality of the model
